Theatre
Al-Arz’s theatre section has played a pivotal role in the discovery and training of talented theatre artists. Some of the company’s theatre members have been performing with Al-Arz since 1976 and remain active to this day.
While Al-Arz is known for remounting stage works of the Rahbani Brothers, it has also created original productions inspired by world class writer, philosopher and visual artist Gibran Kahlil Gibran, and playwright and artistic director Roméo Lahoud. Al-Arz is open to co-productions and often cooperates with other arts organization in Canada and the United States to broaden its reach and bring Lebanese theatre to as many communities possible.
